BIAM's research and applications of advanced wrought and cast Aluminium and Magnesium alloy cover a wide range. More than 20 types of wrought alloys including Al-Li alloys, heat resistant Aluminium alloys, high strength and toughness Aluminium alloy, corrosion resistant Aluminium alloy and rare earth Magnesium alloy, and over 10 types of cast alloys, such as high strength, corrosion resistant cast Aluminium alloy and rare earth cast Magnesium alloys have been developed by BIAM. The wrought products, high quality castings and investment castings have been widely used in aerospace and other industries.
